Each patient has a full medical history taken by our veterinarian,
followed by a complete physical exam. Vaccination

Regular heartworm and parasite prevention is recommended
for all pets. Older pets (greater than 7 years of age) receive
semi-annual exams and have routine blood screenings run
to detect early signs of disease. Due to advances in veterinary
medicine, many medical problems can be diagnosed and
managed provided the disease is detected early. It is important
to remember that pets age faster than people, and regular
veterinary care is critical in ensuring a long healthy life.
Microchips
pet to permanently identify your pet in case they ever are
lost or missing. This is important in cats as well, since most
indoor cats do not wear identification and can easily sneak

Exotic Pet Services
Doctors are skilled at treating birds, ferrets, hamsters, guinea
pigs, rabbits and small rodents.

and other orthopedic surgeries. Our anesthetized patients
benefit from close interpretative monitoring including EKGs,
blood pressure monitoring, and pulse oximetry. All patients
are examined prior to anesthesia and receive pre-operative
bloodwork as needed, as well as pain medication prior to and
following the procedure.

boarding for our clients we can give pets with special
needs the attention and care they require and our clients
